Emeka J. Abazie, DDS, PA

Dr Abazie, a hospital trained dentist with more than 12 years of experience in Dental Implants. He is a trusted doctor with astonishing professional skills who has been treating patients with dental implants for over a decade. He is a former paramedic with Baylor College of Medicine: Department of occupational medicine and worked in the Houston Metroplex for many years while studying for his undergraduate degree in Biology. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, he then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston where he received His Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.
He then furthered his education in general practice residency at King Harbor Hospital-UCLA in Los Angeles, California with the Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery dealing with medically compromised patients and handling complicated cases in oral Dental Implantology, Oral surgery, periodontal surgery, prosthodontic, endodontic, pediatric, cosmetic dentistry, and geriatric care. He is certified in BLS, ACLS, and enteral conscious sedation.

After receiving his DDS, he graduated from California implant Institute with a specialty in Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Abazie is a master of reconstructive dentistry helping those patients with missing teeth and bone loss to regain confidence in themselves by regenerating bone(building bone) through the use of various bone graft materials and membranes and placement of dental implants to replace those missing teeth.

Focus areas:
  • Periodontal Therapy: Scaling and root planing, crown lengthening, and open flap debridement.
  • Oral Surgery: Diagnosing and admitting patients with infection or maxillofacial trauma, performing surgical extractions and wisdom teeth extractions, taking patients to OR for full mouth extractions.
  • Creating a treatment plan and diagnostic workup for implant placement, fabricating surgical stents, and assisting in placement.
  • Prosthodontic: Full mouth reconstruction, crowns and bridges, partial and complete dentures, and implant restorations.
  • Endodontic: Molar endodontic therapy, endodontic treatment of teeth with calcified canals.
  • Pediatric: Treating children, including those with disability and mental illness. Oral sedation on patients with apprehension, fear or anxiety.
  • Geriatric: Treating medically compromised patients, including those with a debilitating disease or HIV/AIDS.
